At first, I loved my little 91 Saturn. (Remember those old commercials? Everyone with new and older ones would talk about how great they are.) Though, keeping it maintained and dealing with crooked mechanics is a nightmare in the city of sin, Las Vegas.

In less than 12 months, the car has been broken into 3 times. 2 stereos and this last time we almost put another in, but thankfully didn't. So, they got away with some junk and a couple of Hollywood Videos. (Credit, they even got into the trunk.)

It has been broken into in broad daylight (2nd time), our old security card was stolen for our apartment complex (resulting in a $50 fee, after the "courtesy patrol" beat the crap out of ME for going home and using the punch code..long story), and this time.

Why spend $500 to fix it to do anything? It isn't even worth $1K now.

Is the whole car battery thing a new trend or something? I wish I still had my 74 Dodge Dart. The only person that could get that to run was me. And, it was so ugly if you did take it, EVERYONE would see it. Regarding a stereo? ha ha ha But, it certainly wouldn't have styrofoam all over the ground if someone gave it another dent.

Now, it seems people are posting "how to" steal cars. I can relate to a childish desire for a thrill ride in a Lamb, Mercedes, Viper or Ferrari. But, a Saturn? At least have some goals. Woo hoo, look at me, I just stole a station wagon. Do I get to join the gang now?

I'm ready to just park it somewhere and take cabs. Cheaper than fixing it everytime something croaks or is broken by jerks with nothing better to do. Uggghhhhh.

Guess I'm getting old. :rolleyes Done Rambling.
