The list doesn't really let you know which car is most likely to be stolen since it is not ranked proportionally, but it is interesting nonetheless. Do the math... These cars appear at the top of the list because that's what most people are driving.

I've had mine stolen twice in the last three months. It's VERY easy to rip a screwdriver into the plastic casing and get at the starting mechanism. That's how theives got my van!

Make the owners of these vehicles aware that the likelihood of someone ripping off their vehicle is high and to take precautions. 2. Make the vehicle manufacturers aware that the anti-theft systems need improvement. Case in point-Cadi Escalade. It is equipped with MRD and not a transponder, possibly why the theft rates for this vehicle are so high.
